Ensured everything in my camper works. While most of you are putting your campers away I am getting mine ready for ski season. Mine sat in storage all summer.

The furnace wasn't firing, I could hear the electrode sparking but never got ignition. Pulled out the electrode, shortened up the gap, scraped it a few times with a screw driver (looked very clean otherwise), stimulated all connections, put it back together and am now enjoying a warm camper again.

Removed the Super hitch and stored it away until next spring and horse show season. It's camping season with no trailer to pull for the next 6 months. Getting the rig cleaned up for working my final horse show of the year next weekend. I found where the women stashed the dirty plastic Champagne glassed from the Dressage Championship celebrations. I just know I'm going to find some more surprises as I dig though all the cupboards and cabinets getting it back to my traveling satisfaction.

Had the hot water by pass valve replaced, should make winterizing a little easier this year....and put a Jack antenna where the old Sensar used to be... had to remove it last year when vent cover was put on. Looking forward to going to an area with a signal to try it out. Not even one station available here in the valley where we live Joe 2011 Silverado 3500HD LT4x4 Ext.Cab L/B SRW 2008 S&S Montana Ponderosa 8.5 FBSC |
