Topic: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Posted By: pcryer on 10/30/11 03:39pm

Woke up in it, unhooked from the campsite, loaded it on the truck, picked up the boat, dumped the tanks, arrived at home and unloaded after another fun filled weekend at the lake! Used the Flush King for the first time and was impressed.

Winterized the camper today and took it off the truck for the first in 3 or 4 years. I hope the adjuster knobs ain't rusted up on the 9000's. [emoticon]

Returned from a wet, rainy weekend. Today was glorious but only able to spend a half a day before the return home was necessary.

Returned from a 400 mile round trip to watch 3-d radio controlled planes at a fly in. Nice, but windy weekend. Made for some interesting flying. Spent 1 night at a Flying J and another in wal-mart parking lot.

Fought a lot of wind over the weekend. Sure hurt the fuel mileage.

Built an 1 ½” high platform for the TC to set on. This will allow the TC to miss the valve box that was hitting the bumper and allow me to add some guides later on.

I finally washed the bugs off the front from our summer trip.

Anybody have a magic solution for removing bugs?

Took a look inside, smelled, can't wait to go again. Emptied the basement from my last trip. Took a look inside the battery compartment, took some stuff out. Charged the batteries. Looked at the dead moquitos at front, damm things are still there after all that rain, kicked the jack to see if they where all well on the ground.
