Thanks to all those that boldly tackled wing rot I was confident and successful in repairing both side over the course of two weekends. It appears that Lance patches small pieces of wood together until they run out of staples.

Over the weekend, took it on its maiden voyage. Stopped briefly at Gonzaga University so my 7-yr-old daughter could attend her Chinese class:![]() Then on to the St Joe River: ![]() ![]() The truck handled it well with the airbags and the BFG AT/KO2 285/65R20s, but that won't be the normal camper setup. 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD, 4.5" BDS lift, BFG AT/KO2 285/65R20 Vision Hauler 19.5s and Toyo M608z 285/70R19.5 for camper duty 2016 Arctic Fox 990 |

Checked it for moisture after the weekend rains, found a tiny bit, but given where it was at, it might have been some that blew in through the roof vent for the fridge, given how rain that fell and there was barely enough to dampen a finger tip after 48 hours of near constant rain, I'd say its holding up good so far and that's just with the butyl tape in the seam strips, will be even better once it dried out and I can caulk it.

Had the Dometic AC that no longer worked changed the AC to a Coleman-Mach 8 Cub with heating element. Just added the heat in case I'd ever need it while they were working on it. I thought seriously about doing it, but worried it might be too heavy to take off/on the roof for the price difference of doing it myself. I guess 9 years on the other wasn't too bad. Hopefully, this one will last that long. I have to say the low profile at just about 8 inches looks great. Installed a 7 way receptacle in the bed of my truck. Now I can use the 12 volt part of my fridge while traveling.
