Loaded it up and attached my trailer with my side-by-side heading to Camp P82 for the Multi-Purpose Buidling dedication this weekend. The first year I spent cooking for Camp P82, my Truck Camper played a significant part as the kitchen facility for the camp. It provided hot water and electricity. Most of the cooking was actually done under the trees on a gas grill and burner from a turkey fryer. We did cook pancakes inside the day that it rained. Sunday, we will dedicate a 60' x 100' building that includes a modern kitchen with electricity and running water. My truck camper will be my living quarters, only because I don't want to rough it with the campers! ![]() Pictures of the new kitchen (still under construction).

I bought a 15" x 20" by 5" high "bus box" (the plastic tub that busboys use to clear a table at a restaurant). It fits perfectly in the bottom of my wardrobe cabinet; and I have a duffel bag that fits inside IT, for optimum storage.... The bus box is now my "shower", combined with a black bladder/hose system that heats water in the sun. I had pondered installing a shower curtain to the outside of the camper - but realized I was one good breeze away from an embarrassing moment, so decided the best way to do a rustic-campground shower was inside, standing in my "shower pan" with a towel under it to catch any errant drips. |

I added a Winegard FL-5000 FlatWave digital flat tv antenna to my NL. Before I was getting 5 channels now I am getting 50. Huge upgrade. It fit perfectly into the cabinet where my flat panel tv is attached.

We're headed home from Michigan, the long way thru UP and Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc. Could have done without Wisconsin as that's where we creamed a deer. Darned thing popped up out of a ditch and raced across the road to get in front of us. She hurried, we slammed on brakes, all to no avail. Now ANOTHER front bumper repair after ignorant driver pulled out across traffic for left turn in front of same poor truck in December. Had it 11+ years and this all in one. At least nothing damaged other than right front bumper, no broken lights or grill, camper never moved an inch, stayed upright and clean panties. Very lucky to say the least. Home tonight and start planning upcoming trip to Colorado. Oh, my brother won both his feature races with a really HOT FAST lawn mower. Yea!

Cleaned both sides of the awning and serviced the tracks as well. Also installed a mirror on the rear pantry door.
