BabyBeluga wrote: In the past two weeks....replaced the upper and lower hinges on the door, they were very stiff and had started pulling the frame off the door. Took out the dinette table and made a "u" seat for more lounging room. Putting together a new detachable custom table in its place. If anyone is looking for a collapse-able table out of an arctic fox DM me. Looking at putting cork flooring in too, in the next two weeks. Sounds great, can you post pictures when you have it done? 2008 Ford F350 crew cab short box PSD, 2021 TravelAir 90W camper |

Got up to 10 inches of new snow this morning. Had to dig the Truck and Camper out of a total of 17 inches of snow. When the weather broke this afternoon I buffed the entire camper with Gel Gloss...wife thinks I'm nuts as the roads will be all snowy and wet when we leave for the Oregon Coast tomorrow evening. I think a little extra protection can't hurt. Mowed the grass around it so it didn't look quite as bad.

well so we ended up just going for the cork floor. Going on a trip here soon and wanted to get it done. Really easy and straight forward. Took just under two cases of cork flooring. I put it in cross wise instead of length wise to save on waste and cutting (figured small space it would be fine). Pine trim stained appropriately. Still need two pieces of trim for the dinette and need to nail in the trim but all in all it took about a full day. Looks nicer than the stock floor and feels warmer. Pictures in no particular order....

Fortunately, for pedestrians, having something like this on the front of your vehicle is illegal. It falls under the same regulations that keep manufacturers' from installing hood ornaments, like in the old days. But, companies like Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz have retractable ornaments. b |
