I installed a new outside window frame on the entrance door. What a total PITA to do that by yourself with nobody to hold one half of the sandwich on the inside as you put it back together!! At least it's done! Then I filled the water tank, pressurized the water system to check for leaks (none, YAY!) loaded the fridge and freezer, vacuumed, washed the walls, changed the sheets, checked the air pressure in the truck tires, installed new wiper blades, washed all the windows, fired up the furnace and am going to bed ....in the camper! Leaving tomorrow for an 8 day trip up the coast to Big Basin Redwoods State Park and want to get an early start. First stop, Morrow Bay State Park. Can't wait!! I'm about 3 trips past due for trip reports. When I get home I have to have a little surgical procedure, so when I'm recovering I hope to catch up... with pics of course! Happy Spring all! Rain in the Redwoods is forcast but I don't care at all!

(finished) Painted and installed all of the aluminum to the outside of the Amerigo (re-build) today. LED markers are up and tested. Next is doing a complete re-wire on the inside so we can start installing all of the new appliances. When will the nightmare end? LOL

With us starting from scratch (literally nothing left on the interior of our re-build) and being that we are "new" first time TC owners, it has been a little harrowing to say the least. |

scrubbed the roof clean and checked all seals. stripped and re-caulked the seams inside the camper where the floor meets the cabinets and walls. then gave the camper a real good cleaning inside. later this week sometime i will do a scrubbing of the bbq that we have mounted on the back. including cleaning burners and all that.

Pulled it out of the storage bay to prep for the Texas TC Rally in Kerrville, TX. Cleaned the floors, removed the bedding for washing, filled with water, added new supplies, swapped out empty LP tank, etc. Last trip was to Bristol, TN for the NASCAR race and wife said it had too many camp fire and grown men smells in it. |
