Topic: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Posted By: stickbowjoe on 03/15/14 03:59pm

Replaced cheesy, hollow, too-big OE table with a handsome, solid wood, 16"x20" one.

Big enough for 2 to eat on, stout enough to work on, and not in the way all the time.

Pretty good truck, pretty good camper.
Just Sally (German Shorthair) and me,
full timing, and shooting and catching
most of our meat.

I looked at mine a few times today. I need to finish waxing the exterior before I put it on the truck. I stored it inside this past winter. I surrounded it with "stuff" and need to move that "stuff" to a new place so I can actually work on it.

I don't have any upgrades planned, but there's a few minor fixes I should do.

By chance is this Fort Flaggler? It looks a lot like Flaggler. We used to spend many days and nights there as a kid, and later with our kids!

Garry in Kodiak.

I hope that is one of those cheap; "Use it and throw it away," chairs. I can't imagine all the dirt and grim that will accumulate riding along on the back of a Truck Camper, let alone cleaning it or sitting in it. Even on dry roads, there is dust, dripping water trucks, road construction, road tar and even an occasional dirt/gravel road.
