Topic: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Installed a front end hitch mount (Drawtite from Etrailer). Planning to use it for bicycles or maybe the spare tire. -Mark.

bought a Boliy Pro3600 (3000Watt) generator with the remote start option and the remote fuel tank option.
Went to a metal shop to have a gen box made to fit my bumper.

Love the camping life. 06 Host Rainier SS, 07 Classic GMC Sierra 3500 DRW.

Started painting the inside cab-over area finally after taking out the front window and re-paneling the inside of it. I bought one of those cheep sprayers from Harbor Freight and it works great!

Ha! It's not so pretty now after using is for a couple months, though I do keep it clean and polished on the outside! [emoticon]

Nice setup. We mounted ours on the left rear of our AF bumper with the slick rail system. Ours just fits in the side storage under the dinette ( I detailed my storage fix in a earlier post) and rerouted the LP gas line so it doesn't interfere with the step in the offset position. They're great little grills that cool off and clean up quickly.

Well it only took me 3 evenings to completely clean out and put back together my Lance 1055 from taking a fishing trip with Jake the wonder dog. It included dumping all the tanks including the fresh water (refilled that one), sweeping out all the crud, wiping down all the walls and floor with 409 and changing the bedding. So here it is one clean 08 Lance 1055. In case you were wondering, yes I do sleep very well on that regular queen size Sealy Posturepedic with a synthetic down pillow top. I really do like the campers functional layout

Had to replace the kitchen faucet in the 08 AF and it came with the soap dispenser. Wasn't going to put the dispenser in but Mama talked me into it. Works like a charm for the dishsoap.

Do you have the box spring under your mattress too?

no that's just a standard 80x60 queen with a synthetic down topper resting on a sheet of refletex on the floor of the cabover

Whew. When you said it was a challenge to get into your camper, then a box spring too, I was going to be really amazed how you got that done.

Replaced the cheap outside speakers with some nice Sony marine speakers.
