As much as didn't want to I drained the water from the rig. In the next few days I'll put anti-freeze it.

Our winds finally took a break, and I was able to take the camper off the truck, and got the pallets and blocks under it for stability before the winds kick up again! And when we have a day that it isn't raining or snowing, I can crawl under and install my new gray water tank and get it plumbed in. Then I can add the floor insulation. Hate to take it off, but more snow is coming, and really don't like plowing with the camper on because I can't see to the rear real good. But i will miss the weight in the bed of the truck![emoticon]

Keep up the ideas for the camper projects!!!

I attempted to change the air filter and spark plug on my generator. Air filter was no problem, but to change the spark plug you have to drop the generator out of the TC. If they had just put an access plug in the pan it sits on it would have been easy. Needless to say the plug didn't get changed. Only 52 hrs. on it anyway.
I also insulated one of my compartments with some foam board left over from an insulation project on my 5'r bedroom.

We're having a heat wave! it is 44F ABOVE 0 today! It won't last, but living on an island in the Gulf of Alaska you learn that the one constant is "if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes, the weather will change" Some times its more than 5 minutes, but at times it will change just that fast! But a HOT day in Kodiak in the summer is 65F. And other than last week, the usual lows in the winter hang around mid 20s to mid 30s. Last week the island got a bitter cold blast from the North that drove temps to single digits above and winds to 70mph! I'm glad we were in Anchorage where it was just single digits above and below, with no wind...[emoticon]

Looked at all the problems it has, and wished I was as handy as you folks.
