Finished the rear fenders, and installed the rear alloys tonight, just need to install the wheel well liners, and run the lighting harness down the bedside. The weather got too cold and wet for me to productively function tonight. My wife snapped a few photos, of the before and after quarter fenders, just need to find the camera

Yesterday and today we did a deep thorough cleaning after driving down very fine sandy backroads in Eastern Oregon. The sand permeated everywhere so we used the Fantastik fan to draw it out from the interior then wiped down and used a toothpick to clean out crevices. Toothpick worked well to clean outside the camper, too. We also took off the removable Polar window liners, washed all linens, wiped down pots and pans and aired out sleeping bags. Tomorrow, we clean the truck inside and out. can't you tell that it is sunny in the Pacific Northwest? Hubby sanded and oiled the wood cover for the stove and the 2 boards that cover the 2 sinks. Now, we need to plan for next 2 week outing in May.

Took the camper off the truck and landed it next to the garage- first time ever I'm so new at this. It took about 45 minutes running the Happijacs down, then watching to keep level and just squeaking by the legs with the dually fenders on the 2013 F350. Now I am ready to take the truck for Load Lifter 5000 air bags and an Air Lift remote wireless compressor set up. Then it gets the Hellwig sway bar and I'll put the camper back on. |

Routed the cable for the local antenna (tv) to the lb on the sat dish so we can record two program at the same time (directv) . Since the local antenna wasn't usable for digital . Also contacted Winegard about adjusting the dish to elimanate play. They were very helpful. Also changed out our old 15" tv to a 32" and had to add surround sound to the dinette because of the location of the AC. We would post pictures but don't know how. You understand we're in our 70s so lost of hearing and sight gos with the terriority.lol also added some shelving in the bedroom for storage . The one thing we miss from home is the easy chairs so I developed a device that is hinged and slides under the cushion in the dinette it allows us to have our legs elevated. A nice addition to comfort in our TC.

Finally got a chance to take a few pics of the latest mods. Added this second slide out switch so we can bring the slide out in after climbing into bed if need be.

Removed the two noisy factory vent fans and replaced with the SharkCool muffin fans. Now when I run the fans they are not annoying like before. With the bathroom fan running its quiet and will be perfect to gain ventilation when using the Wave 3 heater. The galley fan works well while cooking, and so quiet.![]()
