I used to spend lotsa time there when I was in high school. I went back 4 years ago to check it out and reminisce, and there's a big campground there now! (there were a lot of people too) I was shocked. Installed warm white LED strips to replace my fluorescent tubes. I'm happy with the result but it was difficult to get a good connection between the strips and the connectors I ordered. Had to remove a lot of stickum from the ends to get good electrical contact so it turned out to be more labor intensive than I had envisioned. But, what the heck, I'd rather be working on my camper than most anything else. -Mark |

Sanitized the water system, fired up the hot water heater and installed a seven inch LED light from Best Converter above the dinette. Ten more days and I'll be headed for the first time this season.

I added a motion/dusk light to the back of the camper so when I approach it after dark, it lights up the area. It has a solar panel too so I do not need to tie in to the batteries. Works great and I'll post photos tomorrow. I got it from Costco on sale for $29 for a single light, normally $89 for a 2-pack. http://www.costco.com/Sunforce-Products-........otion-Light-2-pack.product.11679366.html

I had a mobile RV service come out to get specs for replacing my crappy worn out rubber roof. He's giving me a number of options, including just recoating the roof, a metal one and if I remove all the vents, rack and ladder, drip rails, etc. I'll know Thursday what the costs are and what I will do. I decided to NOT do it all myself. Dak 2018 GMC Denali "Extreme" and 23' EVO 2050T Travel Trailer Escapee member #224325-Since 1992 |

Got it washed and 2/3rds of the camper re-caulked (before we ran out of caulk) and helped out a gentleman down on his luck. I paid the husband of an co-worker who is out of work to do the caulking. Impressive work. Quality of work was near perfect. One beautiful wife Mattie and Trooper the furcampers 2019 Dodge 4500 with 2008 Lance 1181 2015 Jeep Wrangler toad w/ ReadyBrake/Brute Web Site
