I'm a little confused about the fuse . Do you have an additional fuse panel that takes a screw in fuse ? The circuit breaker may be bad , check for power on both sides when plugged in . Has someone added a GFI outlet , it may be tripped .

Sounds like the glass fuse is main? If you take out (while unplugged), then plug in camper Air conditioner still work? The glass fuse normally can be visually seen that blown. But good to have extras. Wow glass screw in fuse...curious At anyrate the GFI plug a good idea--could swap the breakers to check (assuming when you trip one of em turns off AirCond. Again unplug when swapping /changing. 01 Ford F250 4x4 DRW Diesel, 01 Elkhorn 9U Our camper projects page |

My C-10 had the glass fuse located at the front of the camper, opposite corner from the Breakers in the closet. But it looked like that was only for the 12V side of things, and was right above the main lighting/wiring harness that plugs into the truck. Hope that this helps. On my C11 the shore power access door is rear drivers side. When I open the lid there is the shore power cable and a wood structure that has a housing on it. That housing has a small door/lid that flips open and there is the household fuse from the olden days. Not sure this was standard or something added by previous owner/s ? Until I really dig into this I'm not providing you guys with very good data ( sorry ). I do appreciate the feedback.

I took a better look at it today after work. It turns out ( I doubt this is factory ) that the piece of wood at one time was screwed to the bottom of the camper floor. On that piece of wood is a outlet box with one outlet and a screw in fuse. It appears that a previous owner added this to have one 110v outlet available on the outside of the camper. I believe the fuse is only for the one outlet. So now I'll have to see if they did something wrong when they hooked up this setup or if the breaker is bad.

UPDATE: I am officially a dumb a$$ !!! Turns out the test light I was using to test the 110v outlets the switch was in the off position..................what a dope ! Once I turned it on everything works including the exterior outlet with the screw in fuse. Sorry for wasting everybody's time.
