My Camper has the number on the Corner and it says "Virginia Unit"
What does that mean?

Don't know for sure, but my guess is that Virginia had some unusual build requirement that had to be met, so those units were a bit different and specifically tagged as such.

Most likely it meant that a previous owner was a member of the Virginia Unit of the Avion Travelcade Club, which was the national Avion owners club back when the silver Avions were still being made .

Thanks for the Infos
Thats what i thought (more or less).

Wenn i started to empty the camper (taking out all the pillows) i found lots of wet spots, as i mentioned allready. I think i have to open some rivets, ad sealant and close everything with new rivets.
Now the question.
Where can i get the rivet tool, and the rivets (how much)???
And what type of sealant do you use?
Thanks
j

For rivets and tools try some local Aviation supply for small planes , they should have most of what you need . In the US , Vintage Trailer Supply carries those items .

Before opening up any of the shell seams I would suspect it is more likely to be the protrusions , roof vents , stove hood vent , refrigerator vent and windows .

Another place to look if the floor is soaked is the exterior aluminum angle that runs around the bottom of the floor . I found that it is put on with aluminum nails that look like rivets and they come loose leaving a good water access .

For sealant I like Trempro 635

OK
Thanks
There are no aviation supply arround.
Think i have to check.
There is a Company up north the import orld airstream trailers and convert them into a show trailer.

I think thy will weight up the rivets with gold. Have no answer yet.
I am still looking to get pictures in a post.
Tried with Picasa or Pictures from google, but it did not work.
The former owner tried to "seal" it with ducktape
