Sensational! I wasn't able to download the photos on my iPad but I'll give it another try tomorrow with the desktop. It's great to have you back. You are officially invited to the First Avionista Rally at Muley Point, Utah. You'll meet D1trout and 69avion and Garry and me, along with dozens of other Avionistas. At least that's my hope ;-) We'll see. Forward! D

Michael111, I think the Google photo link you provided is faulty. I can't get it to come up either. Ck it out. We're keen to see your pics! BTW, the paint issue is one I'm thinking about. Check out Awlgrip paint bright aluminum. I think it's a great match AND Awlgrip is an absolutely bombproof paint. My body shop guy quoted $3000 to sand, prep, prime and finish coat my rig. Maybe a vinyl wrap would allow you to do your own artwork and help cover the Gluvit. That stuff is messy! I've used it on the bottom of drift boats and been glad it was on the bottom where it wasn't seen! Onward! Dick |

lets try this link https://goo.gl/photos/J4uQovTuHP9QMLBR7 D1, yes i am not the happiest camper with the gluevit as far as optics is concerned but it did get it watertight, unfortunately $ 3000 or anything in this vicinity is out of my range of possibilities i need to finish the project with about this amount of funds , solar, fridge tie down system , battery. and the funds are gone. So for me it is all about creativity I am convinced that i can make this work lets hope the linky will work this time Cheers |

D Sorry guys, but at least till I move out of Alaska, I do not see me making it to a Rally, as I am not able to take that long of a time off of work to schedule the ferry, drive the whole state and the Al-Can, and then to Utah... then back... I really want to, but right now definitely not in the budget... time or $$$... ![]() Garry |

Garry, the Muley Point rally exists in a time/space continuum of such abstraction that you might be settled in the Lower 48 by the time it actually becomes a reality... Dick |

We might crank up Indiegogo and crowdsource Garry's return to the US for the 1st intergalactic meet up of Avionistas at Muley Point. |

Dick (Now Dave understands why the date is never brought up.) Perhaps "Muley Point" will become the name for ANY Avion get together at anyplace or anytime. It might be called Muley Point 1, Muley Point 2, etc. I think I heard one reference that there should be a Muley Point at Yellowstone, and I'm sure there should be several in the east, south and midwest. And having been on it myself with a pop-up, I could see a Muley Point of Avionistas along the Denali Highway in Alaska. I'd imagine a future Muley Point at Muley Point Utah might be a great choice too!? |

I hope its sooner rather than later that we have a "Muley Point". |

Ah, now we seem to have arrived at the crux of the biscuit: the essential nature of Muley Point. Thank you, Dave, for helping us to understand this truth. Now we just have to get ourselves mobilized to get there, wherever the "there" may be. I may be mobile by the spring... (Standard disclaimers apply) Dick |
