I could probably use your bathroom, what all is in usable condition?
My lower sink area the skirt fiberglass is a bit abused, as is the tub and a bit of the trim.
Any photos of your junk pile? lol thanks!

Are the driven rivets on the avion brazier head? I looked at some AN470s I have and not close enough.

I don't recall offhand what I used but I'll take a look tommorow.

I finished pre drilling all the interior panels, removed them, debured the backs, primed and reinstalled permanately this time.

I bought a thousand rivets and I would guess there's 2-300 left, phew !

I've noticed on most everyones ceilings are little stanchions, what are they ?

Not sure what you mean by stanchions, I'm guessing the magnets that hold the cabinet doors up when open.

What a beautiful job! You should feel really proud of that level of craftsmanship. I also think you may be talking about the magnets that hold open the overhead cabinet doors. You can see them in this old photo of my Avion:

On another note, the 67 Avion is now in the shop for a thorough stress test of its systems. I hope to get it back next week for the finish.

69cayo, that is a fine looking job that you have done.

For reference: in my 67 C10 the wings and bunk are 1 1/2 inches thick. 1/4 ply/1 inch foam/ 1/4 ply. The floor is 3/8 ply / 1 inch foam / 3/8 ply. Both have various 1 inch structure inside.

I've seen the ribs reported as .060 thick, mine measure at .090 thick.

Thanks everyone.
Magnets, of course.

Dodgeavion, I would use (2)- 3/8 ply 3/4 foam on your wings to give them a bit more beef.
I could have sworn I measured my ribs at .060, maybe I didn't ???

You may have measured .060 could be a variation, hard to say. I measured twice because I was expecting .060.

Once I really got into deconstruction I decided in for a penny in for a pound. I'm reskinning my coach. So I'm raising the roof two inches by extending the rib legs two inches each. I'm also extending the cabover 12 inches. Ill still have an east west bed, just big enough for a queen without coming into the cabin.

I'm also going to do the floor pack in aluminum. I'm in too deep not to. Ill always regret it if I don't.

I currently have the floor pack out and sitting on the ground. Looking at how best to do it in aluminum. Sure would appreciate input on achieving that. Ideas?
