Thanks Mau Mau,
Here is another mod I made moving the table from the back to in back of the drivers seat. Now the table can be left up all the time I'm parked. Has to come down when traveling as I have to slide the drivers seat full forward to use the table and I'm a good size fellow that needs the seat back when driving

Cleaned it out the van after an overnight trip to watch The Perseid meteor shower at Palomar Mountain on Sunday night.

Going to install a roof vent over the winter but since money is short right now I rigged up a fan for the upper window in the old B. I cut a piece of Plexiglas and mounted a standard 12V DC equipment fan to it. The fan sits perfectly in the glass track and with the window shut against it it stays in place fine. I put a standard accessory plug with a switch on it to plug into the 12V plug on the wall next to the window. It doesn't move as much air as a roof fan but it draws a lot less current and it's quiet. It will take a few minutes longer to exhaust the hot air (moves 75 CFM) but for under $20 I can live with that until I can shell out the $200 or so for the roof vent and install it over the winter.

It's not that pretty but it works.

Gassed it up. Hooking the canoe/kayak trailer up tomorrow and loading it for a week of camping in the Catskills. Will be doing some hiking and canoing with my wife and dog. Suppose to be perfect weather the whole time. mid 70s day/mid 50s night. (My wife asked me what I wanted to do for my 60th).

Well, I didn't do this "today", but just took some pics of the CCrane wifi antenna installation on our RT. This setup allows us to access a park's wifi from inside the van instead of having to take the netbook or notebook to the park office. It has exceeded our expectations. We can also park in the middle of a shopping center or motel parking lot and find lots of usable wifi signals.[image][image][image]

Even though the antenna is "waterproof", I made up an enclosure using central vacuum tubing (the white tubing and white cap) and various PVC plumbing and electrical fittings that a Home Depot associate helped me with. The antenna and mast are attached with tie wraps (UV protected) to a piece of aluminum angle that's screwed to the air conditioner vent. It's very stable. It does "lean forward" a bit due to the slope of the vent, but performance doesn't suffer. The USB cable extension sits in the "gutter" and enters the RT through the stove fan vent.

Wow. That is very clever. Tell us how it works out. You will get a lot of stares and questions from other campers.
