I took it in so they could trace the dye and it turns out I need a new compresser and hoses etc. I am having everything replaced on Tuesday for $680. The van is over 20 years old. An investment but I got the Class B at a great price via an estate sale so this money being put in is not so big of a hit. Gotta have air condtioning while traveling. ![]() See Picture In My Profile 1990 Dodge XPLORER RV Van- Purchased 10/15/10 Chick Magnet ! * Sportsman GEN154 2000 Watt 80cc Portable Generator * XM Satellite Radio since 12/25/2004 Sold my Class C 1976 Dodge TEC Motor Home 9/25/10 Got this done yesterday. My old B does not have a shower and no fittings on the outside. I went to Lowe's and picked up a 25' lightweight flexible hose that screws onto the sink spigot and bought a portable shower shelter from Bass Pro. The shower shelter goes up in a few seconds. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to get it back in the bag but know that I know how to fold it back up it only takes a couple of minutes. This will be great for boon docking and for those times when showers aren't available at campgrounds. Going to a four day outdoor music fest next week and this will come in handy. Got to remember to pick up more bio soap.

Cleaning the upper bunk today and checking for leaks on the side windows I just re-sealed. When I pulled the pad from the upper bunk I found a leak from the front upper windows I did not know about. Will have to redo some of the wood this week as the slide out deck of the upper bunk warped from the water. Bummer. Next project after that is installing a 14" roof vent as the small one in the bathroom is not enough when I can't use the air.

Picked up a 95 Pleasure-way SRL last week and finally had a chance to test the equipment, so far, so good but a lot more to go. Nick 2019 Thor Chateau 22B |

Yizit, you might want to look at Spectracide's Triazicide. It's a granulated insecticide that I sprinkle in circles around the tires and power cord of the Tiger about 2-3 times a year. Parked on grass & gravel, but no ant problems in years. Jim, "I never finish anyth....." '06 Tiger CX 'C Minus' on a Silverado 2500HD 4x4, 8.1 & Allison (aka 'Loafer's Glory') |

Well, we discovered one of our skylights in the RT had been struck with a BB gun or a rock and made a hole in it and shattered the glass (which didn't fall out.) We covered it until we could get to a glass shop and got another one ordered. Last week, the fellow put it in, but used BLACK glazing compound on the outside!! It is permanent. And he knew it was when he tried to remove some sloppy work. We should have taken it to our RV place! Live and learn.
