Hmmm. I went out to look at our "B" and couldn't find the gills. [emoticon] Checked the OM - nothing there. Any clues?

So, when we load ours, I'm guessin' it's never "full". ('Cept the tanks of course).

Cheers.

Yours doesn't have gills? I thought that was what the thing with horizontal openings in it was? [emoticon]

hee hee [emoticon]

Today, I rigged up a funnel with a hose to the anode port on my hot water heater after getting the supplies yesterday. Then I filled the heater with vinegar and am presently cooking it because I found the heater has 1/4" of lime in it and the anode was completely eroded away and calcified to boot. I suspect the previous owners never changed out the anode or cleaned the heater. When you buy used .... Now that the heater is warm, the stink bugs came out. I killed a doz. of them (yuck). I also put mud dauber screens over the double vent for my stove. I tried to blow out the water in the pipes but nothing came out of the open faucet.

Picked up replacement countertop (over stove) for my RT only to find that brand new one had a crack in it, too.....starting over.

Now that's a new one. I didn't realize a "B" needed any depilatory work! [emoticon]

Cheers.

Later today I will attempt to figure out why my Flojet Macerator keeps blowing fuses in the control handle. Previous times it has been because the impeller was stuck or frozen. Going to put the RT on ramps later and take the thing apart again. I just replaced the impeller and housing a few weeks ago, so it will be a learning experience to find out why it's not working. Could be the motor is shot.

Been so nice I decide to wax the roof just the sides that you can see. Well that looked so good I ended up doing the whole top. Three weeks and I hope we will be somewhere in Florida.

Took mine to Denver over the weekend. Saturday it was 78 degrees and beautiful, came back home Sunday and hit 40+ mph South winds for about 250 miles.
Put it back in warehouse today, cold and rainy, but plan to get it back out this weekend.

I drained my water heater of vinegar and it looks like all the lime is gone. Yay, it worked! Now I can wet-vac the last of the water out of it and put the new anode rod in to finish the winterizing.
