Topic: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Posted By: GaryKH on 09/29/16 03:43pm

Just pick ours up from the shop. Got 4 new shocks installed as the old ones were just flaking away! Quite the improvement! Next spring will see new tires...

I went to a tire shop right after I bought my used unit and had everything checked out as you have, brakes, shocks and all.

Are there many rv spots on Vancouver Island? Hope to get there some time.

Drove mine to work two days ago and even ate lunch in it. Also, watched some TV. I need to do this more often.

I am self employed and can usually work wherever I can power my laptop and get cell or wifi. I use it as my mobile office and have several locations close to home that I visit to work, usually on the ocean or near water. So much better than working from the home office. A perfect use for a small class B van. I'm always scouting for new locations for my 'office' while out doing errands, etc. [emoticon]

Sue, if you were asking me please send me a private message. I tried sending you one to answer your question, but you don't allow them.

Yes, a much better view than what I had during my lunch in the B. Very cool.

We just purchased our little one and took her in for her check up. (Was a bit concerned as she had less than 15,000 miles and was 8 years old) She passed all her safety checks and just needed new windshield wipers and an oil change. Next weekend we are going on our maiden voyage, planning on doing some boon docking and staying at some full service campgrounds just to test what needs to be done. Come this winter, we have a long trip planned thru California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Utah. So excited as medical has been keeping us house bound and its just not fun.

Drove it to work again yesterday and today. Had lunch in it yesterday and watched the Price is Right.

Couple of co-workers passed by and I give them the grand tour. They think it is in great shape for a 1989.

Today we were to take our maiden voyage but unfortunately Mother Nature decided to show her temper on the West Coast and they are calling for hurricane size gusts, high seas and lots of rain, so while we are packed and ready, we are going to wait til morning. Better safe than sorry. I actually have a couple empty cupboards

I took mine out early this morning for a photography trip. It served well as a base camp for making coffee, bathroom, place to warm up, etc. Its been so useful on a daily basis, so much more than my previous Class C or A RVs were. They would sit for weeks waiting for a trip. The Roadtrek gets used at least 2 or more times a week, as well as on longer trips.

Here are a few images;
