Topic: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Posted By: RnRs-RT on 11/16/15 07:38pm

Beautiful day in western Pa today. Took the Roadtrek on a 80 mile round trip just to exercise it and enjoy the day. Got a half bushel of apples at a local orchard and took a nice leisurely walk around a State Park lake. There won't be too many warm days left this year in these parts to just get out and enjoy a walk.

Put our 2016 Travato K in storage until April. Nice thing is downsizing from MB View We no longer need bigger bay saving us $25 a month. I also know I can easily take "Stubby" out for a quick ride anytime I want. Love the B....

Winterized (sigh). Probably no more trips until Florida Spring Training in March, although I'll drive it a bit and run the generator monthly.

Exercised the B by taking it to my sisters on Thanksgiving. 120 mile round trip. I did not stay overnight.

Reinstalled the furnace after changing out the (unreasonably expensive) blower motor. Works great!

Went on a local, winter season drive (first in about two months, so I waited a bit too long) to get the vehicle fluids and tires some circulation and exercise, and ran the a/c. Drove to the local RV/Boat store and filled up with propane for the furnace, just in case I choose to take it out in cold weather. In the recent warm spell, ran a dehumidifier inside to reduce any excess moisture.

Trickle charged the battery a couple weeks ago when it was mild.

Driving it to Dr's office today then checking the mail on the way home as it's my daily driver. Last week we drove through the worse snow I've driven through in years, couldn't see the side of the road and it got seriously dark. At points we were down to 10 km/h with the 4 ways on as we had no idea where the road was. The van pulled through like a champ though with 4 winter tires and 7000 pounds, lol.

It also now has LED headlights which are recent and are one of the best things I've added. I had the roof air taken off week before last and it now has a backup cam.

Next week it goes into the shop again for some stereo work.

Of course "I" didn't do any of it as my health won't allow me so maybe it's "What did you have someone else do to your Class B?" for me!! lol.[emoticon]
