Surge Protectors revisited:

I've made the decision to purchase one. Now the question is to get one that you hard-wire or get a portable one. I know there is risk with portable being stolen. Anyone in the bullets here install one? Where do you install it and how difficult is it?

Not sure it makes a difference but I've the 29REPR model.

No bullet owners have surge protectors? [emoticon]

Curiously, what website do you guys use to post pictures here? I was considering Photo Bucket, and I'm open to any suggestions?

I use Picasa because it helps me organize my photos on the computer and can automatically synchronize them in online albums. The online albums also have shortcuts for posting the pictures directly to Blogger. They are both Google products so it's also one less username/password combo for me to remember [emoticon].

I have a surge protector but only a portable one that I used with our old Tango. I have looked into built-in models but I always thought that professional installation was recommended.

I looked inside the Premier to see if there was easy access but I couldn't see anything obvious. So far I use the portable one without a lock. I do carry a spare padlock because some campgrounds do have a locking loop on the cover of the power pedestal. I figure if they provide a way to lock it, I'll use it. I should probably just order the locking accessory since it only costs $12.

Does anyone have this kind of exposed wiring? And if so, and mod's on hiding it?

My junction blocks look identical. I really have not given it a second thought though. I suppose you could get a plastic loom from a auto parts store to hide it if you wanted.
The bigger issue I have is that the Positive cable to the battery is a bit short and I am afraid if the battery box shifts at all it could pull off the end. I may lengthen it a bit before our trip in a few weeks.

Does any Bullet owner own the Adco designer cover? From what I've read this seems to be a good choice.

Just picked up 3 new locks for my 31BHPR for $10 each. Two 1 1/8" and one 1 3/8" for the outside kitchen. I decided on the tubular style and was able to get them all keyed the same. If anyone is interested I got them from a local RV place that told me they would ship them anywhere.

Spent the afternoon "decorating" the bathroom in my Bullett today. I hung a towel rack and toilet paper dispenser along with a few other goodies. Everything went smoothly. Today was also the first time I towed our 31 any real distance and boy was that a pleasure. It towed and stopped so much nicer than our much heavier 31 Sprinter did.
1 thing I did find odd. I had the furnace on to warm the trailer up and I noticed the fan that blows through the A/C vents came on at the same time. Is this normal? I did not look at the thermostat book so maybe there is a separate fan switch that I missed.

Make sure your fan is set to auto. If it is set to high or low (don't remember which) the ac fan runs at the same time as the furnace.

Bingo! I am in my trailer now and that's exactly what it was. Thanks
