Have any 31BHPR owners installed a DVD player or game console in the bunkhouse? Any pictures you can share?

I was planning on working this issue next week. Attempting to get to the back of the tv and Plug in some cables.

Check out Virtual Garage's blog. I believe he listed pictures. Some previous owners had finishing nails holding the back panel on. I on my 2011 have 4 screws.

I am "thinking" about mounting a small DVD player into the box against the back wall. I am assuming that the box is hollow and should be pretty easy to cut the front out of and use the space for 3 or 4 shelves. Maybe use one shelf for the DVD player and use the other two to hold DVD cases...........

I appreciate the info. Sharing information is what makes consumers more powerful [emoticon].

Yes, I a few pictures with the panel off on this page: http://virtualgarage.wikispaces.com/Tow+and+RV+Mods Look where it says "Added AV extension cable to back of TV"

I've put a PS2 back there so that the kids can play games and watch movies. The PS2 sits on the shelf above the TV.

I remember someone checking out what that "box" was for, but I don't remember the results. I just know that it was for "something" [emoticon]

Maybe check with the dealer before you cut the carpet? And then take plenty of pics and post them up! [emoticon]

I think the consensus was that it was merely a step so the kids can reach the emergency exit window.....

That's what I was told, I asked that on here and someone was at a dealer and asked them....it's a step for small people to get out the window. I thought about putting a hinge on the top and use it for toys probably...I'm sure I could find some thing to stick in there. I like the shelves/DVD player idea as well.

who has walked on their roof? i was up there for the first time and although it felt strong, i wasn't sure if i should walk or scoot to spread the weight. i scooted around just to be sure and everything looked good, except one of the bathroom vents has a little separation with the sealant that i am going to recaulk.

Virtual, can you let me know if there is an HDMI input available on the back of the TV, so my kids can hook up their PS3?

Thanks
