I got a large cutting board and screwed some rubber door stoppers onto the bottom. I positioned them so they sit snug inside the stove rack and keep it from moving around. It is snug enough to leave it there during travel. Hopefully this will add to my counter space! The cutting board was 25.00 and the stoppers were about 2.00 for a total of about 27.00. The stain appears to match better in person as opposed to the photos. That's good thinkin'... I think I also see a doorknob on the panel below the stove?? It is my short term solution until I order a cabinet door to go there. I store all of my pots and pans there. Greg and J Ben - Yellow Lab. I've heard on other models there is some extra space to be had under there. Under the stove on our 27RBPR is the hot water tank so I left that panel as is. |

Easier, yes. Not as nice thought. You did just give me a great idea. Under the stove would be a perfect spot for a large deep pot/pan drawer. You could pull it out rather then lay down on the floor to retrieve your cookware.

Although, the easier it's getting to store stuff, the more stuff will be stored. A little at a time! Which means eventually PAPA gets a bigger truck ![]() ![]() |

Hey, has anyone else bent an axle? We towed our Premier about 4,000 miles last year with no problems. I noticed the rear tires were tilting in at the top 900 miles into our trip to Florida for spring break. When looking closer, I saw that one tire was showing cord on the inner side.....this could have been a very bad expericane. I changed the tire and made it to the campground. I towed my camper to a truck repair place recommened to me by a RV shop. The axle was bent so back they recommended a replacement which I couldn't do as it was going to take a week to get one (custom made). They were able to bend it back in align but was warned that it wouldn't hold ( was starting to sag as I made it back to Ohio). Will look for a heavier axle (stock 3500lb). My trailer was loaded (but not overloaded) and I don't remember hitting anything.....just my luck... 2014 Heartland 305RW Road Warrior 2012 Ford F250 Lariat |

I don't know if mine bent or if it was always like this but, I noticed my rear tires were wearing on the inside and I had to get my axle bent back to alignment. I look at my tires every time I tow it and never noticed any wear at all until I got home from a 500 mile trip and when I put my chocks down I noticed the wearing. I probably had about 5000-6000 miles on it at the time. Same here, I've never had it over loaded or anything, always towed level.... 2009 Chevy Z71 CrewCab 2010 Bullet Premier 31BHPR |

The guys at Tampa Spring ( highly recomend ) said it is not uncommon to see this on new trailers and recommend that all new trailers get a good alignment. Mine was so bad that they knew it wouldn't hold has it had been stressed so bad. I just wonder how long it had been like this. I inspected the tires but could have missed this as you had to craw under the trailer and look at the extreme inside of the tread. They think I did hit something as the camper was way off and the tire was also crooked. I wish I would have taken some pictures. I hope I can find an equally good shop in Columbus. |
