Topic: Keystone Bullet Premier

Posted By: PSUCamper on 03/21/12 07:33am

I have a 31BHPR and just had a questions for anyone who might know. I purchased a can of slide-out lube, but I'm not real sure what all needs lubricated. The bottoms of the slides are enclosed, really the only visible "moving parts" are the steel cables(4 per slide). The cables have to coil around when the slide is pulled inside so I'm sure these need lubed, but what else?

Thanks for any help.

Hey everyone,

Been a while and saddened to see Gary and Net and David go. Thanks for all your contributions. My main mod for the spring will be the Steady fast system to reduce sway. Heard a lot of good things about it. Anyone have any experience with it? I'm also wanting to gain the courage to try and take off the back of the rear TV so I can hook up a DVD player. I'm probably missing a lot but thats all I can think about right now. Cheers!

Let me know how the stabilizers turn out. I have been considering ordering those, but noticed that the front stabilizers on the premier are mounted at an angle. Seems like your going to have to alter the way the stabilizers are normally mounted. Good luck and keep us posted.

Looks like there has been several conversations concerning the storage locks and some have used the following: http://www.combi-cam.com/Cabinet-Lock.htm

I was wondering, it appears that the company now supports a lock that will fit a device with a cylinder length of 1 3/8". I don't have my unit here, but will that now fit the outside kitchen and if not, will the part number 7850L or the 7850XL work for the storage units?

Thanks,
Rick

What type of wire will I need to tie that into my existing light? Anyone know?

Great pictures! Glad your enjoying yourself. Can't wait, first trip scheduled for 1st weekend in May at a local state campground close to home. Figure we can still enjoy camping as long as it has some woods.

Thanks. I'll dig into that. Link works for me. I've added the URL tag around it here to see if it makes a difference.

Picked our 2012 31BHPR up in February and finally got it out this past weekend. What a great trailer!
We had a Summerland 2600TB and while it was a great first camper for us, after a few years we felt we wanted more living space.

Think that's something one can find at the local Lowes?
