The xylitol is a BIG NO-NO for dogs. It can actually kill them by causing a low blood sugar.

The wife and I took a little weekend getaway in the motorhome over Super Bowl weekend. We like staying at the Lazy Days resort in Tampa. It is very dog friendly and it's 5 minutes from the HardRock Hotel and casino so the wife can get her gambling fill.
I am having issues with the upholstery in our motorhome. The cheap vinyl they use on the furnature is starting to fail. Both the front chairs have spots where the material is breaking down. There is an upholstery place located at LazyDays and they gave us an estimate for reupholstering the front two chairs. I got sticker shock but it's way cheaper than buying a new motorhome. They are going to use "ultra-leather" and they said I would never have an issue again. It's just very disappointing that I can't even get 5 years out of a brand new motorhome without having to reupholstering seats. I guess they don't make them like they used too.

This is the part that is stressing me a little bit. I have to get the chairs out of the motorhome and the driver seat is a power seat. The person I spoke to said it was easy as there were only 4 bolts that hold the seat to the mont on the floor. He said I would be able to pull the power plug from the power seat. Hopefully I can get the chairs out without too much effort.
I can get new seats cheaper that what the re-upholstery will cost but the new seats have the same crappy material on them as my current seats.
I will eventually have to get something done to the dinette seat but I am hoping to get another year or so out of it.

I hear ya, Burch. Terry took ours out and both were power seats. It was more bulky than difficult, but Terry knew electronics. I do know that the sets plugged in, because our one Scottie liked to sit behind it when underway and he was always pulling the plug out. LOL
It is true that new ones would have the same substandard material, so you are better off with reupholstering your own.

I have been on a diet the last three weeks and have been walking a lot. Since Monty is fat too (my male Papillon), I have been walking him too. He really likes taking walks but he gets tired quick. He is 11 years old and has blown out both back knees in the past so I don't want to overdo it. We took an almost 1 mile walk yesterday and I let him pick the pace (and try an pee on everything he passed) and he did well. Hopefully both Monty and I can get into shape soon. I have lost 10lbs and need to lose around 20-25 more. I have been eating grass and dirt and drinking a lot of water. The only day I cheat is on Saturday and I eat and drink what I want, but lower quantities than I did in the past.
I am taking next Thursday and Friday off next week and the wife and I are going to the Strawberry festival in Plant City Florida. We are staying at LazyDays resort which is only 15 minutes down the road.
I hope everyone is doing well.
