She has been back at work this week. She felt good enough to take a weekend trip to the casino (after she tested negative last week) so I know she is feeling better! ![]() Burch Thanks Burch. Glad to hear your wife has recovered from Covid. My one niece up here in Indiana who refused to be vaccinated because they were all young and healthy, are now passing it around as we speak. Yes, positive for covid. Gave it to the kids grandma who was actually vaccinated, but still got sick. They prolly won't vaccinate now because they have "immunity." LOL They cannot go see my Mom. What casino do you go to? Tampa? Just wondering. I haven't been to one without Terry. At one time, the casino was the largest in the country (245,000 sq ft) but I think there is a bigger one in Connecticut now. We also go to the Hard Rock in Immokolee Florida but it is much smaller. I am not the gambler of the family but go along with the wife about once a month. Burch 2018 Miramar 35.3 Motorhome 3 fur kids (Monty, ZuZu and Pinto) Rainbow bridge (Murphy, Petie, Lola) |

Good to hear about Richard. My wife has been over Covid for a couple of weeks now but she still isn't 100%. She is still fatigued and tired all the time. She says by 3pm every afternoon she is exhausted. I am sure she will perk up this weekend as I am taking her to the Immokalee Hard Rock casino for her birthday. Hopefully she won't lose too much money! Burch |

I am still in Indiana. My Mom went on hospice yesterday. Things started going downhill a few days ago and she is now refusing to eat. She is a choking hazard so she can only have thickened liquids which she hates. But she will drink her coffee even thickened, but nothing else. At 96 it's safe to say all her parts are wearing out and with hospice, they now only give her meds for comfort and pain. I will be here for awhile yet. I hope the cold, cold weather stays away because I am living in MinnieMee and I don't know how to winterize her. . . never having planned to be in cold weather. But my water tank is under the dinette bench and I have heat tapes on my holding tanks. Hopefully Mom will soon be on her journey and I will be back home. Dale |

That's tough. The hospice we and my mom worked with was wonderful. They were caring and made her passing as easy as possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Doug |

Mom died this morning. She had been in rehab and doing well, but things started to go downhill last week. After choking she refused food. They thought she had a bleed somewhere and wanted to take her to the hospital for a transfusion. She refused saying she did not want to prolong the inevitable. I don't blame her but it's still a hard thing to lose your Mom. She lasted a bit less than a week, but still appeared to be staying the same. She was filling with fluid and was on hospice for comfort. Her passing was very comfortable. She just quit breathing. I will be here for a bit. I'm the executrix of the estate so have some things to get done before I leave. Can't wait to get back to Florida and "my new normal." Dale |
