Sandy and I both got our vaccinations scheduled, Feb 8 and 9. Had to wait online for about 30 minutes in a "waiting room" then went smoothly to a scheduling program. Indiana has done a very good job setting this up, keeping us informed and relatively uncomplicated process. No waiting in line outdoors. No lack of information. This was a lot slower than I'd like, but not sure that was the fault of anybody. I think our expectations have been skewed by rhetoric and severity of the pandemic. I hope all of you get your vaccinations soon. Yesterday they opened up a portal on line to register for the vaccine. I'm all registered and now have to wait till they get more vaccine and give me a time/date. I was at an outdoor meeting and two people who later tested positive. Today is day 9 so I don't think I have anything to worry about. I was across from the two people, who live together and I was always more than 6 feet from them. But the troubling fact is that the one woman had suffered a fever the day before. Why in the world would you then attend a meeting knowing you had a fever the day before? People are so stupid, but then I guess that's part of why we have such a problem. She has since been taken to the hospital. No one else who was there has gotten sick or tested positive. I have a "new" dog I'm rehoming. He is a Scottish Terrier named Brendon. I have gotten quite attached to him, but he may have to go back. He was surrendered to a breeder by the daughter of the couple who had him. I guess the proper procedures weren't done and the parents are very upset. They need help themselves and have someone who comes in twice a day, so it's not likely they can really offer the proper care for the dog. He is already lacking in vet care. We shall see. He is adorable. Take care, FOOF's. Yeah, an office going away party was attended by one employee who was sick; "Awww, it's just a cold". Turns out it was COVID resulting in four other employees getting it and the business shutting down. I thought the COVID would be a good educational opportunity for folks and people with colds and flu would learn to avoid contact, stay home etc. Guess I'm a dreamer. 2018 Ford F-250 6.7L Diesel Lariat Super Crew 4X4 Grand Design Reflection 295RL Jan Baby the Wife & Molly the Dog ![]() |

We have not gotten an exact date yet to be vaccinated. We have been put on a list and will be notified when they get to our age group to either make an appointment or go stand in line. There is something like 3 million people in our group. Ohio gets like 100000 doses each week. Could be a while. I haven't been on here for a while. Charlotte and I both received our Moderna vaccine on January 8th. She was high on the list because of her MS and taking immune system suppressing drugs. She has rarely left the house since last Febuary and is a little stir crazy. I hope they have some for the second dose. My arm was sore for a day and that was it. No other side effects. Every one stay safe and hang in there till this thing is over. 2013 Ford F350 PS CrewCab 4wd Dually 2011 Mobile Suites 36' RSSB3 Charles and Charlotte Pet Crew: Guy 8 and Daisy 7. Garland and I are both signed up on the Missouri covid website to be "notified" when we can actually get the shots. Unfortunately, Missouri is dead last among the 50 states for vaccine roll-out progress. BTW, Charles, I haven't been on RV.NET much myself recently. Our county just doesn't have the number of vaccines needed. So even though we're both in the high priority category, we can't get it. Staying on our acreage, playing hermit, will continue to be the norm for some time to come, I reckon. I'd rather all the medical personnel and first responders, then nursing home residents get the vaccines first, and they don't all have it here.
