Good Morning FOOFs

It's been awful quiet here lately. I hope everyone is doing well. Everything is the same here. Monty and I am both getting fatter so we need to go on diets. The other two fur kids are doing well. We are planning a trip to the panhandle next month. It will be my first week off since we went to Sevierville last year to meet many of you. I am looking forward to getting away from work for a week.

Sure has been quiet here - hope all are OK. We just dodged Hurricane Sally, but still had 18" of rain and 50mph winds for 3 days. Pretty much passed now.

Last year I posted that we were giving up RVing and we fretted about what to do with our 13 year old, and feeling her age, 5er. Well, things can change! We pulled her out of storage, cleaned he up, and traded her for a new Cougar 27SGS. She's sitting in the driveway now and, after all that rain. she doesn't leak. We will be doing some short trips to get her and us ready then plan on doing some exploring of the SE USA.

Burch - where in the panhandle are you headed?

We're doing well, staying close to home and no camping or trips.

We've been keeping an eye on hurricane Sally. She really dumped on our January winter home, Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, AL. We'll stay tuned for how much damage and how long it will take to repair. Glad you avoided the worst of the storm.

We are going to Navarre Beach. We are staying at Santa Rosa RV resort. It's a little pricey but we have a place on the water. We really like that area and it's been a couple of years since we've been up there.

We are loaded and ready to head north. But today we take Phaeton Place and head east to Melbourne, Florida, to spend the weekend close to our son and family. We have only seen them a couple times during the pandemic and anxious to see them again.

Monday we are heading to Indiana for doctor appointments. We plan to change all our doctors to Florida since we have moved here and we do have a cardiologist lined up for Terry. But with the pandemic, it's not been possible to really get to know a new doctor right now. And DH's alarm on his ICD is going off, so he wants his doctor to change it out. So that is scheduled October 5 in Indianapolis. We will see our family doctor for the last time as well. Sure hate to give him up, but we can't be running back/forth to Indiana for that. It will be good to have doctors close by.

We will take the time to see my Mom again. She is 95 years young and we will socially distance while we are there. We usually visit outside as we don't want to take a chance on bringing anything in to her.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Dale

Definitely pricey but worth it if you have a lot on the water. It's a beautiful beach, only about 20 miles from Panama City Beach. Have fun!

We have a water site. We have also stayed down the road at Emerald Beach RV park. I am just looking forward to getting away from work for a week!
