Have you examined her paws thoroughly for ticks or something else caught between the pads of her feet? I'm so sorry Pickles is having so much trouble. Wish they could communicate with us. Dale Dale that was the first thing we did before taking her to the vet. She had step on a thorn a few weeks back on her front paw. She started limping right away. I was able to get it out and she was fine. Thanks for the suggestion. This morning she will get the last dose of the consecutive 12 hour span of prednisone. She should have shown some improvements by that has not happened. She is in so much pain she will not walk. She does try sometimes to get next to us but you can tell she is in pain. We had her outside a lot yesterday trying to coax her to do her business. We tried several things that were suspected to us. Good morning everyone. Dan I wish Pickles a better day today. Keep us informed as to the progress and what is next for her. We are all concerned for you, Patty and Pickles. Yesterday was a good day for me as I was able to get around much better. Today I will hook up the camper to the truck and pull it up to the house and start loading it for our trip to Sevierville. I am trying to make sure I have enough Novolog so I don't run out. I have three pens left with 250 units each so that should be enough. I got my other meds filled yesterday so I should be okay with that as well. Sue and I are looking forward to Sevierville as this is the first trip for us in over four months. I don't know how much going I will be able to do once we get there as I tire real easy, but we will see. Sue just left with Suzie and Dixie for their morning walk, so I had better get moving. I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. Dan I was so hoping Pickles would be better by now. I hate seeing any of my dogs in pain. I just wish I could take the pain for them. Hopefully she we get better soon. Murphy got me up last night again. We had only been in bed about 30 minutes and I had just dozed off. She started her "chirping" and then started to bark and was clawing at the bed. I got up and took her out and her BM was basically liquid. She came back inside and went to bed and started snoring. She made a mess yesterday in the dog room during the day when we were at work. She never messes in the house but something has her bowels messed up. This happened to her a few weeks ago and after a day or two she was back to normal. I guess that happens when you get old. She is still doing good for being 16 years old. I plan on changing the oil in the motorhome this weekend and then taking it to the gas station to top her off with fuel. I am thinking about bringing some fishing gear as both places we are staying are on a river. I need to find out about getting a out of state fishing license for Tennessee and NC. If it costs to much I'll just leave the fishing poles at home. I hope everyone has a great day and my thoughts are with Pickles. Okay, the camper is hooked to the truck and sitting in the driveway next to the house. It's been a while since we have been anywhere so it was slow going this morning. With Sue's help got it hooked on the first try. Once I get the camper hooked up I love the Pullrite hitch.

Pickles had her MRI today and nothing stood out. But why she was under they did find a displaced ligament in her right leg. So now we have to schedule her for surgery to get it corrected. |

Wow, at least it was not a spinal or disc problem!

2011 was our first rally. I look at my picture from back then and wonder what happened between then and now. I got old.
