Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful morning here in the Deep South. The temperature this morning when we got up was 64 degrees. I am feeling well and free from pain. I am getting used to the catheter, but I still can't sit down with it pushing on everything which causes discomfort. I won't be able to see my urologist until August 5th at that time surgery will be scheduled, so I am looking a long recovery period here. Happy birthday Charles. How is Charlotte? Walter looks as if you and Garland are enjoying Wisconsin. Sue and I have always enjoyed our visits there. The Dells are fascinating, God most beautiful work. Dan B and Dan H I hope all is will with you and yours. Dale I hope you and Terry are doing okay. Scottie's Mom and Dr. Doug I wish you well. Burch I hope all is well with you. Ag Teacher how are you and your family? Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed ay, Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. It is 4.5 million square feet and has 2280 rooms. My wife is attending a conference for her work so I figured I would tag along. |

Good morning everyone. It's a cool start at 67 degrees, but a beautiful day. Wish I could say I was okay, but I am a long ways from being okay. I will be headed back to the hospital sometime after the 5th of August to have surgery. Sometime I wonder just how much a body can stand? I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful cool start of the day. It's 67 degrees outside right now, a beautiful morning to be camping. So far we have missed the whole summer. The last camping trip was back in April when we went to Magnolia Springs near Waynesboro. It looks as if we will miss much of August if not all of it. I guess it depends how well the surgery goes and how quickly I recover from it. I hope each of you are enjoying yourselves. The fur babies are doing great. It's amazing how well Suzie is doing at thirteen years old, she is so healthy and active. Dixie is still a puppy, so young and full of herself. She is such a loving soul, it's hard to imagine anyone leaving her like they did. However she ended up in a home where there is lots of love to go around. Lizzie the cat is such a character. So curious about anything going on. There is no doubt that she is Sue's cat. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them/ |

We had another good 2 days at our "moving" sale. Terry is still hauling tools up from the basement. Well, he's sorting them and I do a lot of the running up/down. He can do a couple trips a day. He is making headway in the downstairs shop and the 3rd bay on the garage shop. I still have furniture to bring out and I'm planning on getting that out for this next weekend. Next Sunday we head for Charlottesville, VA, to daughter Jocelyn's with MinnieMee, the little motorhome, and the enclosed trailer full of stuff she wanted to keep. After we return, the empty trailer will be loaded with stuff we wish to keep and placed in storage for the winter. We're not keeping any furniture, none of it was ours anyway, it was Terry's parents. Once we get our boxes moved into the trailer, we will push hard on the remaining furniture. I may just have Goodwill come take it or Habitat may want some stuff. Plan to close on/before September 15, but if I have it emptied, it will be quicker for sure. Terry is doing better. He is within 5 pounds of the weight he normally maintained before the fiasco with the Entresto and the 30 pounds water weight gain. He still is holding water in his feet. Go figure. Richard, I hope you are doing better. I continue to uplift you in my prayers. My prayer list is long, sometimes I fall asleep before I finish, but I think the Lord knows what's in my heart. My DIL's mother just had a cancerous lobe of her right lung removed. She is also on dialysis and waiting for a kidney transplant, which no doubt will be a longer wait now that they found cancer. I feel blessed that I am healthy and Terry is doing well after 21 years of his ordeal. I count my blessings. Thinking of you all. Good morning everyone, Dale glad to hear things are going well for you and Terry. I appreciate your prayers very much. This morning I am getting a much needed haircut. The young lady that cuts my hair is coming over to the house. About four years ago I did the wedding ceremony for her and her husband, such a nice couple. I wish everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Glad Terry is doing better. We know reactions to medications... Sandy has been fighting a bout of AFib for the last two months. Her cardiologist put her on Miltaq and it got her out of AFib, but she had a reaction to the med. Went off it and back into AFib. Started a new medication and converted again and so far no reactions. We've got one of the Kardia Mobile devices where we can record an ECG using the cell phone. The program has an evaluation mode and the ECG can be emailed to her cardiologist and they (the Kardia mobile folks) have a cardiologist that can evaluate it for a small fee. I've read ECGs (not a cardiologist) but I can tell abnormal readings. This is really nice to have when we're camping and out in the boonies. Richard, we hope the surgery cures your problem and the catheter disappears. * This post was edited 07/29/19 11:32am by dturm * Doug & Sandy Kaylee (16-year-old Terrier of some sort) Winnie 4 1/2 year old golden Sasha and many others at the Rainbow Bridge 2008 Southwind 2009 Honda CRV Check out blog.rv.net ![]() |
