Topic: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Posted By: Scottiemom on 07/17/19 02:09pm

Just got back to Elkhart from Indy. A long 7 hours driving time today. Terry is doing better. . . the fluid is coming off. The doctor did increase the one drug which kickstarts the lasix. It's what has been getting rid of the water this week and he wants to see that continue. That is temporary until the water comes off. His blood work was good. They called to say that everything is stable and the kidney tests have actually improved. Whoo hoo! He is feeling better.

Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes.

Dale

Good morning everyone. Spent the afternoon in the emergency room at Greenville Memorial. White blood cell count very high and my urine has infection in. Put me on two IV drips one with an antibiotic. The doctor wanted me to be admitted to the hospital but gave me the option to come home if Sue would bring me back if my fever continue into Sunday.

Got some bad advise from Regional Urology and the doctor said if I had followed her advise I would have been a very sick man.

Okay I need to get to bed and rest, still sick and am running a low grade temp. Last night Sue had to change the bed sheets, it was as id someone had thrown a bucket of water on me. Here is wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Sounds like you might be feeling better. Find a new Urologist. Sending prayers your way.
