I will always remember his show from Hawaii as one of his best.. We saw Elvis in Concert. Can't remember if it was 1974 or 1975. The tickets back then were a whopping $10.00. It was a Fantastic show. Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful start with a temperature at 72 degrees. The fur gang is well and excited about going for their morning walk. I got the Lincoln back yesterday. With the front end being rebuilt it drives like a new car. They discovered there is a wheel on the right rear that is bent, just so happens I have three wheels left over from another car I worked on so I won't have to go out looking for one. July 3rd I am scheduled to have a colonoscopy done. There is nothing going on that we are expected to find anything wrong, its just a routine check up and the last one I will have done. My eye situation is still the same and Dr. Myer has put me off until September. So I will wait on that and hope for the best. All is well with Sue, such a super person and very strong, nothing gets her down. Tuesday is Allison and Ava's birthday. What a blessing they are. Such sweet girls and what great mothers they are to the children. Got word from Joshua that we will be great grandparents in December. Never been a great grandparent before. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. Good afternoon. When I went to post to the thread this morning I thought it got dumped, which has happened before, but found it was not. So rather than tell you twice about what is happening I erased this post.

Richard, the Elvis Tribute we went to is put on every year at the Casa Blanca Casino in Mesquite, Nevada. We bought general admission seats for all four shows, 50's, 60's, 70's and the final run off for winner at a cost of $109. which was well worth it. Next year we will look to buy a reserved booth (seats) 4 and is really comfortable looking. So come on out and see some great impersonators.

Good morning everyone. We had a thunder storm roll through last night so we got more rain. This morning everything looks refreshed and healthy. Sue just left with the girls for their morning walk. Lizzie is watching from the back of the couch so she can have a talk with Sue when she gets back. Yesterday I drove the Lincoln to Walmart and to the dry cleaners. It drives so good and what a pleasure to be able to enjoy the old car once more. We are getting ready for our trip coming up in July. We really enjoy John and Sandra as they are good host. This is our last long trip with the camper. We will be in Sevierville in October and then we will sell the truck and camper. It's been great fun and we have lots of memories and have made a lot of friends. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug foe me and be sure totell someone you love them. |

Dog food linked to congestive heart failure in dogsJust read this about dry dog food linked to Congestive Heart Failure in dogs. The FDA announced Thursday that it is continuing to investigate a potential connection between certain diets and cases of dilated cardiomyopathy, known as DCM or canine heart disease, which can result in congestive heart failure. The agency first announced the investigation in July 2018. Thursday’s announcement named 16 pet food brands most frequently identified in the more than 500 reported cases. Good morning everyone. It's Sunday and time to worship the Lord. After church Sue and I will come home and spend the day in restful silence from the hustle and bustle of the world. Suzie is showing signs of slowing down. She sleeps a lot and the only thing that gets her excited is a knock on the door and someone ringing the door bell. Dixie has learned to leave Suzie alone and try to mix it up with the cat. When the cat has had enough she will go hide. The weather has turned hot here in the Deep South. Yesterday it was in the 90's and it will remain that way all next week. Yard work is limited to early morning or late evening. The new lawn mower is nice and the ride is unbelievable. It has a floating deck with shock absorbers attached to it so you don't get jarred with the uneven ground. I can mow the lawn and be able to walk after sitting on it for over an hour. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Good morning everyone. It has been quiet here on the thread lately. We have a neighborhood blog where folks can post what is happening. Lots of dogs and cats gone missing, hard to understand why so many? The weather is hot and dry once more. Temperatures in the 90's during the day with temperatures in the 60's at night. Sue is getting ready for her morning walk with the girls while Lizzie is getting in position to watch them leave from the back of the couch. Yesterday our pastor gave notice he was retiring. He is eighty-one years old, but has so much energy. Dr. Bob is the best pastor I have ever had the privilege to meet and work under. Finding someone to fill his shoes is going to be a challenge. Okay I need to get moving so II will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |
