Lee, Thank you for the info and web link. Base on what you wrote and what I read on the site, I will get the same tires I have on the RV. Boy, are they expensive.

Teacher's Pet - I have added you to the list of existing or former owners of the R-Vision Trail-Lite motorhome. Welcome to the forum and the B+ motorhomes thread. Sounds like you have already done some maintenance chores and an upgrade of the television.
That is one subject that I wish we could reverse. The new digital (over the air) signals have not been kind to us. With an analog signal, we could find a signal anywhere we traveled. Even though it might have been snowy, we could redirect the antennae and improve the signal and enjoy the program. Not true with digital. Have to do a complete scan of all the broadcasts in the area with the antennae pointing in a random direction, then repeat the process tomorrow as we are then in a new area and who knows the correct direction for the antennae.
RV er - I believe you made the right decision to stay with the LT225/75R-16 size. These Trail-lites are so efficiently built (aluminum tubing in walls and ceiling) that more tire is not needed to carry the load. When the tires are 5 to 6 years old, it is time to inspect for dry rot - especially true if the tires are exposed to considerable hot sun. To read the age of the tire, look for a 4 digit code something like ( 2003), which is a date code meaning made in the 20th week of the year 03.

Gene, I hear ya regarding the TV reception, and agree, but I do love the digital TV signals. Not sure if you have Internet reception on the road or not, but AntennaWeb.org has a great site for finding direction and strength of TV signals wherever you are. Could be a good starting point for pointing your antenna. Just a thought.

We went through the R-Vision Plant in Warsaw in 2003 when we were thinking of downsizing from our 28 foot Travel Master (plus we owned a Coachman 190 B at the time, which was way to small). The coaches we saw being built seemed to be well made for the price point. Then shortly touring several plants, we decided to go fulltime in a couple of years and bought the 37' Intruder, due to the ease of setup and added room. So in early 2004 we owned an A, B, & C class motorhomes.

Teacher's Pet - We also toured the Trail-Lite Warsaw plant, but it was after we purchased our unit. We were impressed with the construction material and techniques. Liked the way they made and handled the sidewalls. We also toured the Gulf-Stream and Monoco plants. For the difference in money, the Trail-Lite won hands down. We experienced a minor frustration - could not obtain complete blueprints, plumbing, or electrical diagrams. Did get a copy of the sidewall construction and roof of my unit. The same was true at the other two plants. It seems like they do not want to get pinned down to how they do the job. It also allows them to make changes daily, weekly, monthly or whenever they feel like it.
I did enjoy watching how they built the Monoco Class A's. They brought in the chassis and put air cushions under the wheels. If they wanted to move the unit, they put air in the cushions and floated the entire unit forward, back, or sideways.

We have not toured the Monaco plants, but have toured, Travel Supreme, Four Winds/Class A, Tiffin of course, Nexus ('11) and Phoenix Cruiser. Of all toured we found Phoenix to be lacking at that time ('03) hard to believe the prices they get for them now, at that time it seemed rather backward compared to others we had seen.

Welcome Teacher's Pet. We have an '05 TL 213 now w/ 38.2k miles w/ only a bad starter requiring a shop fix.
RV er. We replaced six OEM Uniroyal Laredos w. six more (now Load E) after cracking and 6+ years. The tread will outlast the sidewall cracking. $1100 w/ La's 9% sales tax.

Thank You Burlmart and Gene in NE, I will most likely get the OEM tires. The mechanic suggested I get Michelin tires because they are a more quieter ride.Right now I'm shopping not so much for the price of the tires, but rather where I'll get the best service.Should be ready to buy and install by the first weekend in June.

Almost forgot, after 5 years with the RV I will finally get it waxed (detailed). I plan to do it myself so any info as to which wax/polisher or method to use will be of great help. I plan on buying a Dual Orbital Machine Polish and Wax Kit. Hopefully I won't ruin my RV.
