Has anyone put mud flaps behind the front wheels on their B+ Seems like the generator and LP gas tank take a beating from the front wheels. I'd be interested in how they would be attached if anyone has done it.

Thanks Orion, I would love to do the bumper thing I mentioned in an earlier post and then relocate taillites up on the side panels so I won't worry about breaking them anymore.

Thanks for posting that info, Steve. I got the lights today and will try to get them installed tomorrow and take some pics for posting here.

Here are the lights, installed today.

This image below shows, but doesn't do justice, to how bright these lights are relative to the regular lights with brakes applied. These are very bright and they do strobe once (gets attention) when you first apply the brakes, then stay on steady, and double blink with directionals are applied.

When neither the brakes nor directionals are on, the lights are normal brightness which matches the tail lights.

Orion, love the layout and the lights. I would love to change the back of mine to a bumper setup like yours. I would change my lights to surface mount in a second if I could have them up high on the sides.

Thanks Cheeze. Not sure the bumper protects much more than what you have already. The side moulded body sections extend past the bumper so those will hit first anyway. Plus, the step really provides the primary impact point. I had replaced the two side sections (prior owner had jacknifed trailer on BOTH sides). When I took the old ones off, they had styrofoam (like Great Stuff) sprayed into the bottom sections, filling the areas below the tail lights. Not sure if that's from factory or owner-installed, or if I should add that to the new ones or not.

Ok Orion, you have to watch angle 'backing up' as much as me! How was the replacement job of those fiberglass panels? Was it just unscrew and caulk?
I wonder about the foam. If you replace it make sure it's a kind that can be exposed to weather. (no need to worry about the sun tho')

Pretty easy to replace, actually. Carefully pull the vertical weatherstrip on the sides up to the edge of the roof; unscrew the screws in the aluminum strip beneath that weatherstrip; unscrew the screws on the inside edge; then carefully separate the double-sided-adhesive-taped edge on the back wall.

Wow, I didn't realize how high those panels went! I guess I can't see the weatherstrip in the above pix?
