I didn’t even want to know where the Monroe’s were made.

I don't blame you. It seems like nothing is made in the U.S. anymore. [emoticon]

Merry Christmas Leeann, and wishing you a Happy New Year!
Kind of quiet around here lately. [emoticon]

I hope you guys had a great Christmas! Our son bought us a Keurig-type coffee maker for the Monaco, along with a box of Duncan Donuts K-Cups. I’ve been wanting to get a good used Black & Decker Spacemaker, but I guess that’s no longer on my list. I’m still dealing with the lawsuit from the accident last year...supposedly we’re near a settlement with the other guy’s insurance company...so far the medical bills are at just over $53,000. Pain and suffering is still undetermined, until we know what his max coverage is. In the end, it still doesn’t replace a low-mileage Z06 Vette.

Let's hope you get past that, and on the road in Your Monaco. I understand being pissed about it though. [emoticon]
Anyway, let's hope this coming year is a better one for us all. [emoticon]

No, it's hard to replace a low-mileage Z06. It's impossible to replace you.

I'm sorry you have to go through this, though. Insurance companies just suck and anything related to personal injury cases suck.

Having a Keurig-type machine in the Monaco makes sense. When I bought the Mr Coffee for mine, only Keurig made machines and they were rather expensive.

I still get notifications and lurk here. However, as noted, I spend a lot of time on Facebook, mostly involving hobbies other than motorhomes.

Been busy since early last spring with unusual heat, nearby wildfires, and smoky conditions resulting in frequent angina of varying intensity.

Quit smoking with last cigarette in the evening of September 26th.

Quintuple (five-way) bypass surgery on September 27th, followed by a week in the ICU and then at-home recovery. Twice weekly cardiac rehab since, which tends to wear me out. (Traveling to and from town contributes to the weariness.)

The surgery went better than the surgeon and the cardiologist expected. (They had scheduled an average good-case stay in the ICU but were able to release me one day early.)

For me, the results of the surgery, plus quitting smoking, is much, much better than I expected. I feel better than I've felt in over five years. Enough so that I've revived some plans and efforts that I'd given up on.
