Chinook-440, Looks like it was a fun trip... you dog seems to be having a great time. Nice looking rig also. A. I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

Thanks Chase I appreciate that... Its been a long road but I'm about done for now at least. I am building a new table that will match the new counter tops, then I just need to get the stereo and speakers installed(once they arrive that is) then I will get some pics of it all cleaned up and ready to party... Good luck with your project. The great thing about this site is seeing what others do and getting ideas for your own. Several of the things I did were ideas I got from this site.

As my name suggests I am new to RVing period. I have been wanting to get into it for a looong time. Finally did this week. Purchased a 76 Dodge with a 360. That being said, can anyone give me links for the systems on it and how to's for operating everything in/on it. I am not sure what all works and doesnt right now, I am in the process of checking things over now and could use any and all help that I can get. Sam 76 Dodge Leprechaun Getting started. |

![]() ^ image from Trish's post. Welcome, noob! We're all noobs at some point. Dodge is your chassis maker, your coach maker should be noted somewhere on the rig (Shasta, Coachmen, El Dorado, Champion, Chinook, etc). If you let us know what your manufacturer is, we can help you a little better. Also, each of the systems installed has its own literature - Coleman or Suburban furnace, Atwood water heater, Magic Chef stove, Dometic AC, etc. We'd have to know what you have to point you in the right direction. Sorry, like I said I am totally new to rving. I purchased a 1976 Dodge Coachman Leprechaun with a 360V8. I dont know all of the systems yet, trying to find out where all the information labels are but I have these so far... Generator- Kohler Model 3CMS21 WaterHeater- Bowen Model G6A2 Frig- Royal Dometic Model RM-67 Like I posted, still trying to find out where to get the rest of the information. Not sure if I have the right 'attack' plan or not but I think my first project should be to check over and make sure the generator is working properly first. |

Take it to a high-pressure carwash, that's how. Buy some Eternabond tape (NOT from Wal-Mart!) and get at it... Search this thread for how to clean off old putty and put on new Eternabond. Seal the coach, then repair drivetrain, then the propane system including fridge. Then water and holding tanks. Then the interior electric and genny. Trust us on this --Keep the water out. |
