Topic: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?

No, Goreds, I didn't read that.
Gravel can have lots of acids on it from industrial applications. You can set your tires on that, but I won't set mine.
If you're going to build a concrete pad, park so that all your tires are on plywood. Yeah, scrap plywood. It'll save your tires while you got the chassis up off the ground so that condensation (and mice) do not destroy your rig from the outside in.

Eyeteeth-- I am so sorry.

Extension cords? Why?? I don't get this...

Because they were not red hot and tied down?

Bob gave me enough thick cable to make 4 new battery whatzits and those were stolen last winter.
Sheesh and this is a nice neighborhood.

I shudder to think what you'd have left over in a not nice neighborhood...

Tell me about it... This place is all single family, no apartments and nowhere near a city, but what the Ohio Valley is now is hurting bad.

Vandalism is not the worst of it, peoples' places are broken into on a regular basis.
If you want your (stolen) stuff back, the pawnshops are doing a roaring trade.

Pawnshops are good places to look for things like inverters, Eyeteeth.
Just saying.

eBay is, too - a lot of people upgrade and sell their old ones there.

I got mine as a factory refurb from
http://www.rvpartsoutlet.com/index.php?cPath=841_83
I got the Progressive Dynamics 9145 and the add-on Charge Wizard (it's a smart charger for the batteries) for a bit less than they're advertising now, but they now have a 9245 for less than those 2 together - the 9245 comes with the Charge Wizard built-in.

Hey all. Kind of gloomy on here of late, eh?

So I'll cheer you all up-

I looked inside my Dodge last week-end and saw that some of the ceiling panels have fallen. I guess I either didn't seal the roof enough (which I doubt), or the prior damage finally gave way. Either way, another project!

But I do also have my new tires, so the red wheels go on in the next week, and I can finally install the new cam and timing chain kit, so this old pig will run correctly! Today is my last day at work, so I'll have PLENTY of time to do these things. Heck, I better get it all fixed, might be living in it soon! [emoticon]

Nah, just teasing.

Have a great week-end all!

Eric

Take care, maybe working on the Dodge will take your mind off things.

Ah Red, thanks. But I'm OK. For lack of a better description, we've been bought out, and the buyer is a group of people I've worked with and for before. I have full confidence that once the signage is changed on the building and trucks, I'll be right back in there.

But yes, I'm going to use the time to fix the old girl, maybe actually DRIVE it once! [emoticon]

Hey, Eric!

Sorry - still can't stand the idea of red wheels on a green RV [emoticon]

Glad to hear that there is a least a prospect of you going right back to work....and that you might be able to drive your toy shortly [emoticon]
