Topic: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?

Posted By: overdrive75 on 05/08/09 07:35pm

Well I bumped it up to somewhere just past 10 degrees, maybe 15 I am not to sure as the timing marks stop at 10 degrees. It does not ping, and it did wake the motor up a bit. Actually alot, the engine is WOT shifting at 4000 now instead of 3800, yes I do have a tach. Get's on the freeway witout any trouble now, and it runs down the road at 65 with minimal throttle input. I am very happy. Now that was just the RV, not the RV and TOAD. I will try it tomorrow with the TOAD as I am going to the spring shop to get the left leaves added. I suspect positive results. Since it is less throttle to go down the road now I should see a little increase in MPG. I hope this all works. Next mod to the engine area might be to add a fan clutch or just remove the fan and go with an electric puller fan. That should free up some more HP to drive the wheels, that is if I think I need it.

Good news... Finally finished the shower. It took awhile to find some molding for the partial wall... but it's done. I put a shower curtain up and took my first RV shower standing up ever! It was so cool, I took two of them this weekend. I'm excited to have this done finally.

Bad news... I forgot to take pictures again. It's still at the campground as it hasn't stopped raining long enough to get it back home. We were able to pull it out of the lake to higher ground, but it's still really soft. Hopefully the next week or so.

I'll get pics next weekend.

I need to figure out my schedule and finances. [emoticon] Did you get my pm about the dimensions? I need to make sure it will fit in the back of my truck. (with or without the kids car seats might be a little more accurate) Wife is off to California for work this week... so I'm tied to home base for a bit.

I thought everyone would get a kick out of this sign I purchased last year at a tag sale. Hopefully, you all can read it.

I upload my pictures from PhotoBucket.com. How do I make them bigger?
