Now I can move on to the panneling and molding of the ceiling job. I am going to wait about a month before taking the cover off my MH. I am keeping my fingers crossed concerning a possible issue. When I bought my MH in Sept, I used a "regular" outdoor extension cord to plug onto my house and work the air conditioner in the MH. In late November before covering it up, I ran the AC via the generator and no cold air came out. Upon reading posts on this site, I have saw where you should use the thicker cord for the AC and not the regular orange outdoor cord. I hope I did not destroy the air conditoner. ![]() See Picture In My Profile I have a 1989 Dodge XPLORER RV Class B - Purchased 10/15/10 IN CASH Fiance' purchased a Class C 2002 Dynamax Carri-go on 5/1/15 IN CASH We've got the best of both worlds |

If so, try tapping the temp control knob with the handle of a screwdriver. My Coleman non-ducted sometimes has a "sticky" thermostat and tapping it resets the the mechanical portion of the 'stat. (ON EDIT): Running a 12ga (yellow) 100ft cord I can run the A/C and the 900 watt micro for about 10 minutes with an outdoor temp above 90F before the dedicated 20a circuit pops Ken * This post was edited 03/02/09 08:47pm by Kendas * |

Kendas, thank you very much for replying. I printed out this page with your comments and will use as reference when I uncover the MH to test the air conditoner. Happy camping. EDIT: I did recently buy an RV extension cord to use from now on. * This post was edited 03/02/09 09:49pm by goreds2 * |

I am in process of the 30 am outlet next to the barn garage door I park near. I have all the stuff and the breaker for in the pannel in the barn, I just need to do it. I am waiting for my brothers help on this one.

Didn't do any work on mine yet. Almost did yesterday as the weather was great early in the day so I planned on leaving work early and check some stuff out but by afternoon the rain had started. So far though, I haven't had any new leaks since sealing all I could find last year. Fingers crossed.
I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

Did not have to do a "condition run" on the rollers at the emissions station. Thanks for all the suggestions (which I took other than R&R of the carb). Bad: Leaked out all the R12 so the chassis A/C didn't work... Now I have to get some more (3 @$25 a 12oz "pound") before summer. Ken |

Not to mention see if you can find the leak so it doesn't happen again... But GREAT on passing! '73 Concord 20' Class A w/Dodge 440 - see profile for photo |
