Hello,
Have a 2010 lance 950 camper. House 12volt Batteries charge off truck while truck motor running but not off shore power or in house genny. While hooked to shore power or running genny I have 120 volts in the camper @ the electrical plug ins but again house batteries not charging through convert. Also the house battery isolate switch does not seem to work. I push switch in but still have 12 volt power in camper. Any ideas what the heck is going on here?
Thanks,
David (just completed 5000 mile trip)

Burned fuse, breaker tripped, bad converter. In that order. Get out your volt meter and start checking things out is all I can tell you.

What make and model converter do you have.. NOTE: if both 12 volt fuses and 120 volt breakers are behind the same door, What is the make and model of said door.
As the other poster posted.
Suspects in order
Breaker that feeds the converter (Tripped, off, LOOSE SCREW)
Converter (Fried)
Converter fuses (on some this is a 30 amp or 2 30 amp fuses on the main fuse board, others they can be.. elsewhere)
Broken wires, or other fuses or switches,
Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business

Many converters have two 30 amp fuses on the converter. I've seen these fuses blown when the trailer battery was hooked up with reverse polarity.
