Looking for ideas on what is the best way to raise a dual rear wheels for leveling. It can be something one buys or something one makes.
Thanks in advance.

I've been using 2x6s cut into 12 and 18" lengths stacked on top of one another.

Lynx Levelers, which are basically giant plastic legos, work as well.

I've used the Lynx levelers for 8 yrs now. It's about time to replace them as they are wearing out.

If you don't yer transferring all of the load and sheer forces onto one rim.

Dually tire weight rating is lower than that for SRW. (smaller sidewalls than SRW)

i must not understand that statement. could you please explain? is that because of heat buildup between the tires...being so close as to why it would lower the load rating?
tires on my srw...lt235/85r16... tires on my drw...lt235/85r16
no difference.

as for leveling, i use the lynx levelers also, small package space and convenient.

Some campsites we use are very out of side to side level so having boards of all thickness and lengths sure helps for four rear tires if needed. Older hillside unimproved camping areas may require digging one side down and ramping the other up. I make my own but I prefere 2" x 8" (7 1/2" actual width) as my tires are wider than 5 1/2" (2 x 6). Some of my blocks are 4" x 8" cedar that I chain sawed a bevel at one end.

Same tires. They are just rated lower when used in the drw application.

I just run my outside tires up on a ramp to level.

another levelling alternative is just loosen off all tie downs and use your jacks, sometimes its easier if the site is off level..
