I succumbed to Amazon fever last week and bought a new white shower head and hose for $25.

This was probably the world's easiest mod but I'm not sure the spray is using that much less water than the one that I replaced. I had to buy a shutoff ($5) because the Oxygenics doesn't have one like the one I replaced. I tried to install the shut off at the faucet but it didn't have enough threads to screw on the long Oxygenics connector so I put it between the flow control and the shower head. I couldn't use the holder extension because our faucet is too close to the shower wall to screw it in. Luckily our shower holder is sturdy enough to hold the new head.
The head is much longer than the old one so now the shower head is super tall, and the hose is longer so it can reach the toilet to spray that if necessary. So I guess it was worth the $$.
I'm tempted to do a bucket test with each shower head to prove to myself that the new one is saving water, but I'm too lazy to take it all apart and reinstall the old one.
We're hooked!

is yours plastic? some one wrote and said they pad a plastic one. My is metal and so darn heavy. I have to put into the tub when I travel or it will just jump out of the holder and I'm afraid one of these times put a crack in the tub. It might use as much water but it sure comes out of the head a lot faster than the rv shower heads. DW really likes it. in fact she liked it so much I had to get one for her shower in the house.

I too don't know if it really saves water, but I sure like the pressure increase, and ended buying a 2nd shower head for the S&B. $25.00 is a great price I paid $39.00 at our RV dealer.

I am thinking of buying one and would be really interested to find out if it really saves water. SOMEONE PLEASE DO THE BUCKET TEST. Thanks in advance for anyone who does the test for the rest of us.

Had to buy the holder for the shower head, it came with sticky tape but soon let loose. Wanting to know if anyone else had this problem and what they used to secure it to the shower wall? Great shower head!

My Oxgygenic has a knurled fitting at the bottom of the handle where the hose goes in that turns, allowing only a trickle of water to pass. The last report I read, using a Shurflo pump, the shower head used 1.5 gallons per minute.

EMD360- I bought one a few years back. I did the bucket test and both were around 1.4-1.5 gallons per minute. Not much difference between the two. We had the same problem you do with the shut off. Seems the one in the handle is made to drip or leak as to prevent a blast of hot water when you turn it on. After about 2 or 3 trips with it, we went back to the OEM shower head. Now it sits in my garage.

We just changed to one also. Don't care how much water it uses we wanted the pressure, the factory one just didnt cut it. How does everyone travel with it though. We bought the holder recommended but I can see traveling down the road it will not stay up in air. The bouncing is gonna make it droop down if you know what I mean, then it's gonna bounce out. The Oxyie is very heavy and don't want it flailing around in the shower. Even if it stays in the holder I can see where it's heavy enough that bouncing down the hwy it will eventually rip the holder off the wall even with the screws.
