Can anyone give me information about this park. Do you know if you get any TV reception? I know they don't have cable. Also, how far to the nearest grocery? Are there any attractions within an hours drive that you would recommend?

Was there two weeks ago. Have sat dish but do remember checking OTA and only got 3....all were Georgia Public Television.

It is a very nice park but be sure you note the checkin time, it is 4 PM. Office closes at 5PM.

Shopping in Douglas; maybe 6-7 miles to Wally World. It is an older version of a Super store.

I think we got a few channels of tv. Georgia Public from Waycross, and maybe some from Valdosta. WalMart is on the South bypass. We just mostly stayed in the park, Douglas is a ways from anywhere.

We stayed there in November, 2009. As others have said it is a short drive to the Walmart in Douglas. There are also other stores and restaurants in Douglas. There are lots of trees in the park. We were not able to get DirecTV satellite in site 37.
