Folks,
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with one of these units. My wife and I are soon going to be spending significant winter months somewhere warm and we'd like to be able to take not only a car, but our motorcycles as well (we both ride our own Harleys). My biggest concern is placing all the responsibility for the load on one axle. The 'HDXL' model (the one we're looking at) has a 5K axle and my calculations have us well within that rating. But still....there's a lot riding on the one axle. Aside from trading for some sort of Toyhauler MH, I don't see any other way of getting the job done (unless we go to a fifth wheel, and we don't want to do that)

That one looks like the only manufacturer on the net.
Check what there warranty is. I have never seen one on the road.

With motorcycles between axle and hitch you'll be distributing some of the added weight to the hitch also...can your MH handle the extra weight?

But still....there's a lot riding on the one axle. Not sure I understand your concerns. If the axle, tires, frame, brakes and any other item are within the weight limit what is the worry? I do like the adjustable table to adjust the tongue weight. Like hotbyte said, Can your MH handle the extra weight?

What is the front end weight of the vehicle that you plan on putting on the dollY?
What is the weight of the two bikes loaded for the road?
What is the total length of the MH, dolly and vehicle?
Tongue weight on your Seneca could be close depending on previous questions. Towing weight could be close. I would say your hitch on the Seneca would need to be rated for around 1000 tongue weight and 10,000 trailer weight. Just a guess!

I don't see any place for a second Harley on that dolly. Which one of you gets to walk?

Thanks for the replies folks. No problem getting the bikes on the one we're looking at. And my hitch, the front weight on the toad, and the towing capacity of the MH are not the issue (I've done all the calculating, and as I said above, everything is within spec)
I was only wondering if anyone has experience with one of these units. I can't seem to find many reviews, but the ones I 'have' found are mostly good.

With cycles and car, I'd go with an enclosed car hauler trailer. It's lockable, can stow extra stuff like your cycle gear, and no worries about dings from road grit. They come in different sizes too so you can find the weight that suits your RV.
