Sometime back, I was at grocery store or Sams club type store and saw some toilet paper marked "safe for septic and rv use". Recently I have been looking at different stores and cannot find toilet paper marked for rv use other than that found at Walmart in their camping section or at a camping dealer. My question is does anyone know what brand of toilet paper can be used in RV's or marked for RV use. I am concerned about the paper disintergrating and or cloging the tank on my Motorhome. Thanks for any help in finding this.

I believe that any toilet paper that says it is safe for septic systems is ok to use in your RV.

Any toilet paper that you don't stick your finger through when using it is...."safe for RV use."

If you use enough water and wait until the black tank is at least half to 3/4 full before you dump, there will be no problem no matter what paper you use. If you don't use enough water and/or dump too soon you will get a clogged black tank no matter what paper you use.

Generic store brand single ply works for me. The worry is how well if breaks up when wet.
Now if the paper for the yearly RV parts catalog would dissolve. Would make for good use of last year's addition. Until then I'll just keep using them to level the coach.

How big is the bowl opening in your toilet?
How big is the drain line from tank?
How much toilet paper do you need to clog those openings?
Don't use that much......
All kidding aside.......we FT and toilet gets used several times a day. Tried that RV TP (came with RV Kit from Dealer) and threw it out. I like my Scotts TP and living in an RV ain't going to change that........5 yrs. and no issues with the bath tissues.

I really have not seen many toilet paper types NOT safe for septic or RVs to be honest. I'd be more concerned about those HUGE industrial public restroom types of TP.
Most brands/types are fine for RV's.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.
