I am more familiar with Tiffin than Foretravel but here is the question. Is the Zephyr on the same level as the Foretravel . Above or below? I am talking about chassis, engine, options and trim. Just curious. Also what other motorhomes would be competitors with the Zephyr.. Thanks

IMO, Foretravel is in a class by themselves. A comparable to the Zephyr would be American Heritage.

The Zephyr is several large steps below both the Foretravel and American Heritage...
The Zephyr sits on the spartan K2 chassis with 500hp. Other coaches from different bands that are about the same would be the Entergra Anthem or Newmars Mountain Aire or American Coach's Tradition.
If your looking to spend Zephyr type money the best coach in that price point in the market today IMO is the 2013 Enterga Cornerstone, the fit and finish is well above any Tiffin product and the Entergra is optioned out well above the Zephyr as the Cornerstone sits on the Spartan K3 chassis with 600 HP

Zephyr is below the Foretravel. I would put the Entegra Cornerstone in the same league as the Zephyr. In the price range of the Zephyr I would look at the American Eagle too. For the price of a new Zephyr I would also look at a used full wall Essex.

That would be like comparing a Lada (Zephyr) to a Mercedes Benz (Foretravel). For the cost of a Zephyr one could buy a very nice motorhome.

Tiffin makes so few Zephyrs a month that I would expect the reliability of a Phaeton or Bus to be better even though they are cheaper models. The employees on the very same production line just have more experience with those models.
