YES ! It is a sanctuary from everyday routines. Very relaxing area to read, listen to the radio or have the grand kids help to make a lunch, and sit and decide where we are going to next summer or sometimes just play a game. Even in the winter it only takes a little while to warm it up. The house is great... but no area in it is as relaxing as being in the TC. A lot of the enjoyment in owning a TC is just knowing you have it there , so you can think and dream of places you'd like to travel to.

I tell folks that our camper is nothing but a portable cabin that we carry with us...Up in the mountains, out at the coast, in someones driveway, at relatives. When traveling it's our Diner, bathroom, rest area. Just have to use your imagination.

I feel better now... I thought I might have had a problem ...because I regularly make coffee and have breakfast in my camper while off- loaded at home.. I simply cannot get enough "camper karma".. It is good to know I am not alone..

I had the TC out the other day with my boys. Had a spot for lunch, to rest, to get away and at the same time drove downtown to a meeting and still had all that with me.

Man, this is so cool! I sure do envy you all.
I will be soooooo glad when our AF finally gets up here to AK.
I have my Sprinter Van, had it for 6 years; it's a great van, but no sink, bathroom, water, that kind of stuff. I still hang out in it, it's very comfortable. Plug the ship to shore in, cut the AC on, or now a days I fire up the Webasto and within minutes its nice and toasty in there.
Yeah, I'll be so glad when our TC gets here. I told DW that I was gonna take her to work and hang out in the parking lot in it, she could come visit me during her lunch break.

I spend time in the tc quite often. Will probably spend some time in it tomorrow night while the house is full of women,along with the following Friday night as well.

Yep, great sanctuary, and I've been keeping a camper's log since we got it. Helps to jog my memory - memory lane's not quite so clear as it used to be, but the log helps. 333 nights and counting...
