I have been looking at new tow vehicles and cannot believe the prices, so I started looking at used trucks, their prices are hard to swallow for something that is 10 years old....I found a 2000 F-350 dually and the price is and I quote "$89,989.00" OMG is it gold plated? I think I should do my part to help the economy but this is ridiculous. Looks like I will have to wait until I hit the lottery or get a stimulus check from the government.....

I keep mine till the wheels fall off and can't/won't fix them anymore

For that kind of money, I can rebuild just about everything on my GMT400 Suburban
and have done so for the Silverado...the body parts are in need and am deciding
on where to replace or paint it with bed liner...

Even then, I'd have money left over !!!

Heck, think even enough to pay a PE/ME and shop to fabricate whatever
it would take to turn my 8.6K GVWR Sub into a +9.6K GVWR Sub. In ADDITION
to paying that guy in Idaho to convert mine to a Duramax for 'my year'
so no smog stuff...

Even though you found a $90,000.00 truck that doesn't mean that's your only (or even the wisest) choice. You can find TONS of them around that model year for under $10,000.00 range.

That is what NADA says but dealers must not look at that when pricing trucks...

Let us know where they're selling a 2000 F-350 dually for 89K.
I'll take my old 91 F-150 there and let them have it for only $21,985.

I see F350's from the late 90's and early 2000's for sale in the $8K-$15K range. Pricing depends largely on condition/miles and whether it's a private/dealer sale, gas/diesel, 4wd/2wd, reg/super/crew cab, srw/drw, and pickup/cab-chassis.
