The awning on my brand new Itaska broke. The pin holding it to the coach was never installed by the folks at Winneabago. Anyone know how to install the pin without taking the hing off the coach? I don't want to take it back to the dealer again. It's been there more than we have had a chance to go camping and everytime they break more than they fix.

Call Winnebago service, they are very helpful. They have helped me several times with advice on repairs, adjustments, finding out how stuff works and where everything is. So far, no trips to the dealer, one trip to Ford to fix a leaking cab air hose. I have no complaints with Winnebago, they seem to go out of their way to be helpful and I'm very happy with our Vista.

Don't try to fix it yourself, they are under spring pressure & can be dangerous if you are not qualified to fix. I had that happened once, I had a Mobile RV service come to my house & he fixed it right in the driveway, I think it was under $200.00. Good Luck

Gosh, I have counted 8 posts today on different "problems" with your new coach. You have had more problems than I have had in 3 yrs. Sounds like a "lemon" in the works.

The OP posted 7 topics all on the same day about his "brand new" motor home but on one of them forgot and said he had it for over a year.

This whole thing stinks.

What dealer? How far are you from Beckleys in Fredereck. Winnie may send you there for warranty work if you are dissatisfied with your dealer.

Change dealers and take it back for them to repair. Your warranty is NOT with the dealer it's the manufacturer.

His "brand new" motor home just out of warranty. Very fishy.
