I'm wondering what products others are using to wax their RVs? And what is the best way to go about doing it? There is an RV wash here in Yuma that does a wash and spray on wax for $2.50/ft. I'm wondering if this stuff is any good or if I should do it myself?

I wash it then run my hand over the surface. If it feels rough and gritty I use a good paste wax and take my time and give it a good wax job. If it feels smooth and semi slick I'll use a spray wipe on wipe off wax like turtle wax. I do this about every 6 months.
Main thing is use quality products so you do not swirl the clear coat and the proper buffer cloth or towels.

I look at what my time's worth and how long it would take me to do it vs. paying to have it done (zero chance of me falling off a ladder).

If the cost equates to, for example, $10 an hour if I did it myself, there's no way I'm going to do it. For 10 bucks an hour there are many more entertaining things I'd rather do.

Since 2002 I've never waxed an RV, but to each his own.

or Meguires (sp?) wash and wax. Apply and buff off with a $22 buffer from Walmart.
